My name is Ashton Rushing. I was born in Los Angeles and placed in the foster care system shortly after birth. I was blessed at age 3 to be welcomed into the arms of two loving parents who gave me a home, stability, and the foundation to grow. While my birth mother was facing her own struggles, I’ve always carried a quiet respect for her — and I honor the part of my story she gave me.

Growing up, I faced intense health battles, including severe asthma that had me hospitalized over 18 times. Much of my early life was spent indoors — but that’s where I discovered the magic of film, music, and movement. I became obsessed with rhythm, watching artists like Michael Jackson and James Brown, unknowingly preparing myself for a life of performance.

At 18, everything changed. My asthma faded. My body caught up with my spirit. I started to dance, train, and express myself in ways I never imagined. I discovered not just confidence, but purpose.

Today, I’m building a modeling career rooted in story and energy. With a golden-bronze complexion, athletic build, and expressive presence, I aspire to thrive in fashion, suits, urban streetwear, and lifestyle campaigns. While I’m just stepping into the professional world of modeling, I show up to every photo with the same grounded confidence I bring to life itself.

I also wouldn’t be here without the unwavering love of my wife. She’s believed in me from the start, encouraging me to step fully into my dreams and stand tall in my vision.

And above all, I thank God. Through every challenge, every setback, and every breakthrough — He’s been my strength, my guidance, and the reason I’m still here. This journey is possible because of Him.

From the camera lens to the streets, I’m here to move with meaning — and remind others that where you start doesn’t define where you can go.
